After many years of activity on the Chicago Trust scene, the Chicago Trustee Collaboratory (CTC) has wrapped up operations. The Independent Trustee Alliance (ITA) is pleased to announce the amicable acquisition of the CTC and its remaining assets to help further both organization’s shared value of helping families through trusts. The ITA is a nationwide 501(c)(6) founded in 2016 and dedicated to promoting and shaping the profession of Independent Trustee. Presently, there are members in more than twenty two states.
- As part of the acquisition all current and former CTC members have been extended a complementary membership in the ITA until May 31, 2024
- Login to your membership account using your eMail address and complete your profile. Your profile is searchable by the public using the “Find A Professional” feature.
- Qualified trustee members are encouraged to apply for the Certified Independent Trustee or Master Certified Independent Trustee designation.
- Benefits available to all members include thousands of hours of continuing education (access through your membership portal), Errors & Omissions insurance and individually underwritten health insurance.
